After completing art school, where she obtained an MFA (Tilburg), DESIGN-FACTORY.NL founder Rose-Marie Kaanen attended the international post-academic 'Jan van Eyck Academie’, (Maastricht).

She worked for a number of renowned multinationals at home and abroad. During this period, she exhibited her work several times (for instance, at Krabbedans - Eindhoven, The Dutch Textile Museum – Tilburg, and Lokaal 01 - Breda).

She received a number of grants for visual arts (Province of Brabant) and her work was purchased by a number of companies and institutions. Rose-Marie Kaanen has increasingly focussed on design since then.

In 1993, she started her own business. At first, she worked under the name of ‘Rose-Marie Kaanen Communicatie’ and later also under the name of ‘DESIGN-FACTORY.NL’. For many years now, DESIGN-FACTORY.NL has been working together with other highly-qualified freelancers, photographers, designers, programmers, artists and universities.

The work that has been done meets the highest standards and is characterised by distinctive design, perfection, originality and clarity.
